The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is the professional regulator for nurses and midwives in the UK and nursing associates in England. Anyone wishing to practice must meet the standards to work safely and effectively.
Requirements for Registration
To register, you must show:
English language proficiency
Good health and character
A valid professional indemnity arrangement
Successful completion of the Test of Competence (ToC)
For internationally trained applicants
Or those returning to practice after a long break
