    What Is It?

    A 2-part assessment for:

    • Internationally educated nurses/midwives

    • Returning UK professionals (after time off the register)

    CBT (Computer-Based Test)

    • Part A: Numeracy (15 questions – 30 minutes)

    • Part B: Clinical knowledge (100 MCQs – 2.5 hours)

    • Taken at Pearson VUE centers worldwide

    • Fee: £83 (Part A: £50, Part B: £70 for resits)

    • Up to 3 attempts per part; 10-day minimum between

    OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination)

    • 10 practical stations covering:

      • APIE (Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation)

      • Clinical skills

      • Professional values & evidence-based practice

    • Held in UK at 5 test centers (e.g., Oxford, Northampton)

    • Fee: £794 (Resit: £397)

    • Results in 5 working days

    • Up to 3 attempts; 6-month wait after 3rd fail
